Andersen AFB, Guam U.S. Air Force Custom Patches

Andersen Air Force Base is home to Pacific Air Forces' 13th Air Force and the 36th Wing, Air Mobility Command's 634th Air Mobility Support Squadron and several other tenant organizations. Andersen has always been, at its heart and soul, a bomber base - even when there were no bombers present. Andersen AFB was established in 1944 as North Field and is named for Brigadier General James Roy Andersen (1904–1945).
